ABOUT DAVANTI
Davanti is a new name in the tyre industry, but although a young company it is one with big ambitions and is backing them up with products which are rapidly gaining ground in the marketplace. The company launched its first tyre in 2015 but has already developed run flat tyres, winter tyres, SUV tyres, van tyres and even ultra durable tyres for commercial cars such as taxis with the DX420 tread.
It has a retail network in 35 countries and to raise awareness of the brand in the UK, it signed a three year partnership deal with Everton F.C. Davanti is a UK-based company with its head office in Newton-le-Willows, but after careful analysis of facilities it chose China as its production hub.
Tyres are produced in a factory so advanced that Sean Maddocks, Davanti’s sales director who has spent years in the tyre industry at senior levels, described it as `knocking spots off’ some European plants. The tyres are produced by robots which are controlled by AI (artificial intelligence) so sophisticated that if a flaw is detected at any stage they will shut down, so quality control is guaranteed. So confident is Davanti that the tyres are as well made as possible that it offers a guarantee, saying `We’ll replace any Davanti tyre that is found to be defective due to the manufacturing process or materials used. Any tyre with unrepairable damage that results from normal road use will be replaced.’
